The boundaries of distraction

Day after day searching,

For yet another distraction,

Swimming, baking, golfing,

Or so it seems.

Constantly craving,

That which is not in the present,

Living a future life,

Not yet arrived.

Mentally paralysing,

Any feeble desire for work,

Sunshine,

Blocks it all out.

Silently motivating,

An ingrained belief:

Work is just a distraction,

Or so it seems.
